Help shape the future of disability arts in Canada by joining the Tangled Art + Disability Board of Directors. Your leadership will support strategic direction and community engagement.

We seek engaged individuals from Ontario who are committed to supporting Deaf, Mad, and disability-identified artists. Board members will contribute to governance, aid in strategic planning, and support Tangled’s dedicated staff. Your skills in various aspects of governance and community involvement will be invaluable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to organizational bylaws and standards

• Evaluate efforts of the Executive Director and programming

• Foster effective organizational planning and accountability

• Assist in fundraising activities to ensure sustainability

• Promote Tangled’s mission within the disability arts community

Requirements:

• Previous experience in accessibility or community advocacy

• Knowledge of Deaf and disability arts

• Skills in finance, legal, or governance

• Understanding of participatory governance practices

• Passion for enhancing disability arts accessibility
