Position: CASSA Board Director Level Role
Join the CASSA Board of Directors and lead efforts in promoting equity and social justice for South Asian communities across Canada. This volunteer role spans a four-year commitment.

CASSA aims to enhance its impact through a diverse Board filled with community-minded leaders. We are looking for board directors proficient in finance, fundraising, and nonprofit management. As part of the Board, you will contribute to organizational sustainability while fostering partnerships and initiatives that resonate with community needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead governance and strategic oversight

• Implement organizational strategies and initiatives

• Engage in fundraising and community service efforts

• Represent CASSA's mission within your networks

• Actively participate in Board discussions and activities

Requirements:

• Dedication to equity and advocacy

• Relevant experience in community or nonprofit settings

• Understanding of governance and strategic issues

• Effective communication and leadership skills

• Lived experience with South Asian communities preferred
