Position: Youth Coordinator for Growing Roots Program
Become a pivotal part of Mabelle Arts as the Youth Coordinator in the Growing Roots initiative. This in-person role focuses on supporting underrepresented youth in meaningful service opportunities within community settings.

The Youth Coordinator will assist in implementing the Canada Service Corps program, managing volunteer activities for youth aged 12 to 30. This junior-level position requires two or more years of experience in community development and youth engagement. You will play a vital role in planning, scheduling, and providing support to youth volunteers, ensuring impactful and enriching experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the on-site point person for youth volunteer activities

• Schedule service placements and training based on youth interests

• Develop individual learning plans for volunteer tracking

• Coordinate outreach campaigns to promote volunteer opportunities

• Manage logistics for events, workshops, and field trips

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience with low-income youth

• Strong planning and multitasking abilities

• Intermediate administrative and communication skills

• Knowledge of community arts and development

• Commitment to fostering youth engagement
