Lead the Harm Reduction Community Care Program with PASAN and partners in Downtown East Toronto. Oversee community clean-ups, engage stakeholders, and enhance support for vulnerable populations.
As the Community Care Program Coordinator, you will implement a city-funded initiative aimed at addressing community needs through harm reduction practices. This full-time role requires collaboration with various community partners to promote awareness and ensure effective service delivery. Your expertise in community engagement and program coordination will be crucial for maintaining partnerships and supporting staff and volunteers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily implementation of community cleanup initiatives
• Manage cleanup requests across multiple communication platforms
• Facilitate outreach activities to raise community awareness
• Support training on overdose prevention and harm reduction
• Build partnerships with local organisations and stakeholders
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience in community-based programming
• Knowledge of harm reduction and healthcare issues
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication abilities with diverse communities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic data systems
