Position: Coordinator for Youth Volunteer Programs
Join Mabelle Arts as the Youth Coordinator, driving the Growing Roots program to engage youth in community service. This role is designed for dedicated individuals focused on promoting youth empowerment through hands-on volunteer placements.

Embedded within the Canada Service Corps, the Youth Coordinator will oversee volunteer activities and foster leadership skills among youth aged 12 to 30. This role demands two+ years of experience in social services or community arts settings. Strong organizational and communication skills will ensure successful program delivery and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor all youth service volunteer activities on-site

• Facilitate orientation and training for new volunteers

• Create and implement individual learning and development plans

• Lead youth outreach campaigns for community engagement

• Handle logistics for events, workshops, and volunteer meet-ups

Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience working with diverse youth

• Excellent planning and multitasking skills

• Strong relationship-building capabilities

• Familiarity with community development and arts

• Understanding of youth leadership and mobilization
