Major Gifts Manager at TSO

Take your fundraising expertise to the next level as the Major Gifts Manager at the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. This permanent, full-time position focuses on securing five- and six-figure donations, enhancing the orchestra's artistic mission.

In this frontline role, you will manage a portfolio of 100-125 major donors capable of contributing $25,000 or more annually. Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy, you'll drive sustainable revenue and forge long-term relationships with passionate supporters. Your aim will be to expand donor engagement through strategic cultivation and stewardship practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Secure significant gifts through proactive donor engagement

• Manage annual revenue targets and donor relationships

• Lead all stages of the donor cycle for major gifts

• Collaborate with development teams for impact-driven strategies

• Prepare high-quality donor materials and proposals

Requirements:

• 5-8 years in major gifts fundraising experience

• Proven track record in closing five- and six-figure donations

• Familiarity with donor-cycle methodology and database management

• Strong communication skills for donor engagement

• Commitment to ethical fundraising practices
