Grants and Donor Stewardship Specialist

Windmill Microlending is searching for a Senior Specialist to enhance grants and donor stewardship initiatives in Toronto. Bring your advanced writing skills and fundraising expertise to this pivotal role.

As a Senior Specialist, you will lead the development of proposal writing, manage grant reporting, and create effective donor stewardship strategies.

Your role will include collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting on donor impacts. This position is instrumental in furthering Windmill's mission to help skilled immigrants thrive in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and manage proposals for major institutional funders

• Develop detailed financial and impact reports for donors

• Partner with teams to ensure accurate program and budget reporting

• Optimize strategies for donor recognition and retention

• Conduct detailed prospect research for new funding opportunities

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of fund development experience, with an emphasis on grant writing

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

• Proven ability to manage multi-year grants and proposals

• Familiarity with donor stewardship practices

• Strong command of Salesforce and Google applications
