As a Volunteer Program Coordinator, you will oversee all aspects of volunteer management at Sunnybrook, from recruitment to training and performance evaluation. You will ensure the successful implementation of best practices while collaborating with key stakeholders to achieve departmental objectives. Your leadership will directly impact the quality of care provided to patients and community members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead volunteer management and engagement initiatives across hospital sites

• Recruit, screen, and train volunteers to meet organizational needs

• Supervise a diverse portfolio of 150-200 volunteers

• Collaborate with colleagues for continuous improvement in volunteer practices

• Utilize Better Impact software for effective volunteer administration

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required;
Certificate in Volunteer Management is an asset

• Extensive experience in volunteer management or HR required

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Proven ability in conflict resolution and problem-solving

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and volunteer management software
