In this term position, you will assist in developing Toronto Pearson's Volunteer Program under the guidance of the Manager, Volunteer Program and Passenger Care Team. Your crucial tasks include recruiting volunteers, facilitating training sessions, managing volunteer schedules, and creating data reports on volunteer activities. You will play a vital role in shaping customer experiences and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in recruiting and training new volunteers
• Develop initiatives like the Therapy Dog Program
• Manage volunteer schedules and liaise with partners
• Generate reports on volunteer activities and performance
• Maintain communication with volunteers and the Passenger Care Team
Requirements:
• 3+ years supervising personnel, preferably volunteers
• 3+ years in direct customer service
• Experience with event management
• Valid Class G driver's license required
• Post-secondary education in volunteer management preferred
