In this role, you will manage and lead a significant volunteer initiative at Sunnybrook Hospital, aligning volunteer efforts with hospital priorities. Your responsibilities include recruitment, training, and performance management of volunteers, as well as developing effective relationships with community partners. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee recruitment, training, and retention of hospital volunteers

• Provide leadership and support for teams of 150-200 volunteers

• Collaborate with staff to enhance volunteer engagement practices

• Implement and monitor strategic goals for volunteer programs

• Manage volunteer records using Better Impact software

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree; certificate in Volunteer Management preferred

• Significant experience in volunteer management or HR

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proven leadership and organizational abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and volunteer databases
