Position: Volunteer Finance Director at Trinity Square Cafe

Trinity Square Cafe is on the lookout for a Board of Directors member with a finance background. This volunteer role emphasizes strategic oversight and leadership to achieve organizational goals. Board members will collaborate closely with the Executive Director and contribute to a program that actively supports adults living with mental illness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide financial oversight to the cafe's operations

• Collaborate with the Executive Director on program objectives

• Assist in grant writing for funding opportunities

• Attend monthly board meetings and committee gatherings

• Participate actively in the annual general meeting in July
Requirements:

• Experience in finance and grant writing preferred

• Understanding of mental health issues through experience

• Previous non-profit board experience is an asset

• Commitment to a two-year term with 4-6 hours monthly

• Willingness for virtual and occasional in-person meetings
