As a Regional Mentor for NFTY, you will play a crucial part in transforming teen-led Jewish life across the region. Your passion for mentoring will help develop teen leaders and strengthen relationships within Jewish communities. This position involves engaging with various organizations and supporting local programming while working flexibly part-time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor and develop the Regional Board's teen leaders
• Coach youth through leadership development and values-based mentorship
• Build partnerships with stakeholders and local synagogues
• Facilitate monthly conversations with engaged community stakeholders
• Attend and support weekend Kallah retreats
Requirements:
• Experience mentoring teens in various settings
• Relational skills to build community and trust
• Strong organizational and self-management abilities
• Passion for promoting youth engagement in Judaism
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion in Jewish spaces
