- Develop and execute strategic plans to engage women donors and increase their participation in philanthropic activities.
- Organize and facilitate events, workshops, and seminars aimed at educating and inspiring women about philanthropy and community involvement.
- Collaborate with other departments within Uja to align women's philanthropy initiatives with broader organizational goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective women donors, providing personalized communication and support.
- Create compelling marketing materials and communications that highlight the impact of women's philanthropy within the community.
- Analyze donor data and feedback to assess the effectiveness of programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Serve as a representative of Uja at community events, networking opportunities, and conferences to promote women's philanthropy initiatives.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the progress of women's philanthropy initiatives and donor engagement metrics.
- Mentor and support volunteers involved in women's philanthropy programs, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
- Identify and cultivate partnerships with local organizations and businesses to enhance the reach and impact of women's philanthropy initiatives.
- Stay informed about trends in philanthropy and women's issues to ensure Uja remains at the forefront of relevant discussions and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of donations and funding related to women's philanthropy.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as nonprofit management, social work, or communications.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or community engagement, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
- Proven track record of successfully managing events and programs that engage diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with a variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using donor management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of the philanthropic landscape, particularly as it pertains to women's issues and community development.
- Experience working with women's groups or organizations focused on gender equality and empowerment.
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and social media platforms to enhance outreach efforts.
- Previous experience in a leadership role or managing volunteers.
- Understanding of grant writing and reporting processes.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills to evaluate program effectiveness, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
