This full-time, permanent role based in Toronto or Six Nations, ON, emphasizes the strategic management of major gift donors giving over $25,000. The Senior Development Officer will collaborate closely with the Director to craft campaigns aimed at engaging individual and foundation donors. Your experience in not-for-profit fundraising will be pivotal in achieving and exceeding annual revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop major giving fundraising campaigns with the Director

• Maintain a portfolio managing 125 donors and proposals

• Identify and qualify major gift prospects with a researcher

• Collaborate with departments to generate funding opportunities

• Create tailored donor communications and fundraising reports

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree or equivalent

• Minimum five years in major gift fundraising

• Knowledge of Indigenous communities preferred

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Willingness to engage in cultural competency training
