Your role will focus on building donor relationships and securing major contributions to support student success.
In this pivotal role, the Senior Development Officer will manage a diverse donor portfolio, fostering relationships with individuals, corporations, and foundations. You’ll develop compelling strategies to secure major gifts of $25,000 or more while aligning donor interests with institutional goals. Collaborating closely with internal teams will be essential for planning robust donor engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build strong, sustainable donor relationships for future support
• Manage and grow a portfolio of major gift prospects
• Develop customized solicitation strategies for significant donations
• Accurately maintain donor records and fundraising forecasts
• Represent the Foundation’s mission throughout the community
Requirements:
• Extensive experience in major gift fundraising
• Proven track record of closing five- and six-figure gifts
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Organized and able to manage competing priorities
• Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience
