Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Mid-Level & Direct Response, the Manager, Integrated Annual Giving supports the planning and execution of the Foundation’s direct response and monthly giving programs, which feed the broader mid-level and annual giving strategies overseen by the Senior Manager. The Manager provides tactical leadership in campaign execution, segmentation, donor journeys, and annual giving operations.

The Manager will also be assigned a priority program to lead, currently identified as B@H, creating tailored engagement pathways for emerging donors and building a feeder system to monthly and mid‑level giving. The role manages a small portfolio of mid‑level donors connected to this program. Collectively, these functions strengthen donor retention, deepen donor engagement, and support long‑term donor pipeline growth.

Key Responsibilities
Direct Response Program (40%)
  • Execute multi‑channel direct response fundraising (mail, email, digital, integrated campaigns) in collaboration with the Senior Manager, Mid‑Level & Direct Response.
  • Provide analysis, recommendations, and tactical insights to support the Senior Manager in campaign planning and program evolution
  • Develop donor‑centric segmentation approaches that directly support both annual giving and mid‑level donor pipeline growth.
  • Support mid‑level donor program goals by generating targeted upgrade opportunities, lead referrals, and integrated touchpoints.
  • Manage vendors, creative development, production workflows, and campaign budgets.
  • Use donor insights, testing, and analytics to optimize messaging, targeting, and performance.
  • Partner with Communications on brand‑aligned fundraising content.
Monthly Giving Program (25%)
  • Implement growth strategies for the monthly giving program, enhancing donor loyalty and lifetime value.
  • Develop acquisition and conversion campaigns, particularly from direct response channels.
  • Manage stewardship, retention journeys, donor communications, and recognition.
  • Monitor KPIs and produce reporting to inform program improvements.
Centre Priority Strategy (15%)
  • Lead relationship management for a possible portfolio (currently B@H and BFF), including recruitment, volunteer leadership and community building.
  • Work with the event team to plan appropriate engagement events and attend these events to build relationships.
  • Develop partnerships with corporate, community, and peer networks interested in this property
Mid‑Level Donor Portfolio (20%)
  • Manage a portfolio of mid‑level donors and prospects, with emphasis on emerging donors aligned with any assigned program priorities.
  • Conduct individualized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
  • Prepare proposals, impact updates, and personalized communications.
  • Maintain accurate records and plans for donor interactions.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma in business, marketing, fundraising or related field
  • CFRE or similar designation considered an asset.
  • Minimum five years of progressive experience in annual giving, direct response fundraising, digital fundraising, or related development functions. Mid‑level donor pipeline development is an asset.
