Program Associate Star

Position: Contract Program Associate Star
Exciting opportunity at Toronto Star as a Contract Program Associate. Drive impactful programs and advance community engagement through effective fundraising strategies.

In this 16-month role, you will support The Toronto Star Children’s Charities by overseeing fundraising initiatives, community programs, and donor relations. Your ability to manage volunteers and ensure the integrity of the database will be pivotal. You’ll be producing essential materials and fostering enduring relationships that help shape the charity’s impact on children in need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute strategies for fundraising initiatives and donor relations

• Manage community fundraising events with support materials

• Create newsletters and communications for donor engagement

• Support grant application submissions diligently

• Organize Santa Claus Fund volunteer schedules

Requirements:

• Certificate in Fundraising Management preferred

• 2-3 years of fundraising experience required

• Strong knowledge in RE NXT system

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
