Location: Roxies Café, East Hants Sportsplex

We are recruiting for Café Server(s) to join our team for the fall/winter season at Roxies Café at the East Hants Sportsplex.

Do you enjoy being part of a busy events-focused community facility? Do you enjoy working in a café environment, delivering exceptional customer service, and providing food and beverage services? Do you have some availability to work flexible hours in the fall and winter months, including evenings and weekends? If this sounds like you, please apply to work with us for the fall/winter season!

Candidates should have customer service or food and beverage experience, or a willingness to learn, with point-of-sale experience considered an asset. WHMIS and CPR/First Aid certification are assets, and training may be provided. Applicants must be 19+ and available for flexible casual or part-time hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and must meet required screening and certification requirements.

What you can offer:

• Past experience in customer service, food and beverage service, or a willingness to learn.
• Experience with point-of sale software would be an asset.
• Current WHMIS, CPR/First Aid certification, or ability to successfully complete training provided.
• Clean Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Abuse Registry check.
• You are available to work flexible hours around the operational requirements of a sports facility, including some afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
• 19+ years of age to meet licensing requirements of the café.
• Solid understanding of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging in a customer focused environment.

Hours:

Variable hours, casual and part-time hours available. Please note your availability in your application.

Hourly Rate: $17.25/hour.
