Alo Restaurant is seeking an experienced part-time Sommelier to join our team with availability to work 2-4 shifts per week. The Sommelier will be working in collaboration with Alo Food Group's Wine Director at Alo restaurant during service.
Alo is open for dinner service from Tuesday - Saturday.

Alo is a contemporary French restaurant located atop a heritage building in downtown Toronto. Our cuisine is internationally inspired and celebrates the finest in seasonal ingredients paired with a genuine sense of welcome. Alo has been awarded 1 Michelin Star since the Michelin's arrival in Toronto and serves blind, seasonal tasting menus.
Main Role/Areas of Concern:
- Sommelier service and setup
- Execution of in-service wine pairings
- Cellar Maintenance, including moving boxes of wine, cleaning and organizing the cellar
- Assisting the service team with food and beverage running, table maintenance, and other service duties as assigned.
WSET or CMS certificates are highly recommended. Experience in a fine dining restaurant with a seasonal tasting menu is an asset.
