Line Cook - Italian Kitchen Hands-on Training

Cantina Mercatto is hiring a Line Cook to join the Kitchen Team. We’re looking for someone who brings consistency, care, and a genuine interest in Italian-inspired cooking.

• Prepare dishes with consistency and attention to detail, following Mercatto recipes and plating standards
• Support the kitchen leadership team through delegated tasks from the Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, Executive Chef, or General Manager
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe station at all times
• Stay on top of prep duties and contribute to efficient, smooth service
• Contribute to a positive, high-performance kitchen culture

• Culinary training or education is an asset
• Strong knife skills and understanding of basic cooking techniques
• Ability to follow direction and maintain composure during service
• A positive attitude, clear communication, and team-first mindset
• A genuine interest in learning and developing within a hospitality kitchen centred on from-scratch cooking.
