Host, Restaurant/Food Service, Server/Wait Staff
The Carbon Bar is a very exciting and lively restaurant focusing on American BBQ with an extensive bar program which has a large influence on Whiskey (Whisky) and Bourbon. We continue to remain the best BBQ in the city, the best up scale casual restaurant, listed on Open Table's 100 Best Restaurants for 5 years straight.
This is a part time host position and we are looking for night and weekend availability.
Responsibilities and Duties
The host will be the front line staff member in most situations and will be responsible for the following:
-Answering phone calls
-Responding to email inquires
-Updating our Open Table system: booking control, booking confirmation, group party management
-Seating guests
-Hand-off take-out orders to delivery drivers
Qualifications and Skills
1 year of experience required along
Exceptional communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently to perform many tasks at the same time while prioritizing tasks
Flexibility to work in the evening and on weekends as required by restaurant demands

Salary: $17.95 per hour + gratuity
