Position: Market Development Lead (United States)

Buyapowa helps regulated brands — ISPs, credit unions, insurers, energy providers and mobile operators — acquire and retain customers properly. We’re not looking for a closer here. We’re looking for someone who enjoys building the front end of a market.

The role

This is a sleeves-up, individual contributor role focused entirely on the United States.

Your Priority Sectors Will Be
  • ISPs / Broadband providers
  • Credit Unions

There is significant long-tail opportunity here. We already have credibility in the market. What we need is someone to deepen it properly and systematically.

You won’t be closing deals.

You won’t be navigating procurement.

You won’t be managing late-stage sales cycles.

Your Job Is Simpler — And Harder
  • Identify the right organisations
  • Find the angle
  • Open the conversation
  • Qualify properly
  • Hand it over cleanly
  • Then repeat

This is about building repeatable momentum, not landing one-off wins.

What This Job Actually Feels Like

Some weeks you’ll map out a cluster of regional broadband providers and test different entry points until one lands. Other weeks you’ll spot a pattern in how credit unions talk about member growth and sharpen your outreach accordingly.

You’ll refine your messaging.

You’ll improve your hit rate.

You’ll build coverage across a sector properly.

There’s no call script.

No activity theatre.

No micromanagement.

But there is accountability.

What You’ll Bring
  • Solid experience in B2B SaaS market or business development
  • Direct experience with ISPs and/or Credit Unions (non-negotiable)
  • Confidence opening senior conversations
  • The ability to operate nationally across the US
  • Comfort working autonomously
You Should Already Know How To
  • Research properly
  • Write outreach that sounds human
  • Run a credible first call
  • Decide what’s worth progressing

We don’t need someone to learn how to prospect.

What this role is not
  • Not a closing role
  • Not a management role
  • Not a strategy deck role
  • Not a high-volume SDR job
