ResponsibilitiesAs an Associate Sales Director you will provide inside sales support for Sales Directors, including marketing products and concepts to advisors, consulting with advisors on cases, comparing ivari’s product offerings with competitors, and using sales concepts to meet client needs.
- Proactively develop and maintain key relationships within the region
- Liaise between producers/advisors and head office to ensure the highest standard of service
- Identify training needs and recommend sales/marketing solutions focused on maximizing sales
- Provide marketing, product and administrative support, including sales calls and database development
- Implement and sustain a call rotation and activity level that allows you to focus on our key advisors
Support the different WFG offices and staff.
- Provide basic training through one‑on‑one sessions and large group presentations
- Attend WFG related events (in person and virtual) throughout the year (including occasional evening and weekend work) and some travel may be required
- Work virtually out of your home base in the Greater Toronto Area, with occasional visits to WFG offices in the territory when necessary
- Proven problem‑solving, customer service and organizational skills
- Knowledge of the Canadian life insurance industry and products with at least 3–4 years of experience; strong knowledge of Universal Life Insurance (UL) preferred
- University degree or equivalent work experience
- Proven ability to seek and identify new business opportunities
- Proven ability to build on existing business
- Ability to forecast needs of Sales Directors as well as producers/advisors
- Solid business acumen
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – verbal and written
- Effective time‑management skills with the ability to manage numerous relationships well
- Highly motivated with a desire to be successful
- Awareness and integrity as it relates to the team’s compliance management activities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
$66,500 to $85,000 plus a competitive sales bonus target paid quarterly.
