Position Overview

Graywood Developments ("Graywood") is a privately‑owned, Toronto‑based real estate investment management company that specializes in the development of residential mixed‑use properties of exceptional quality in Canada. During its 40‑year history, Graywood has managed 53 projects, with 31,100 housing units and a combined value of $8.3 billion. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Sales Representative who will become an integral part of Graywood's team.

The Sales Representative will drive on‑site sales success for Graywood Developments. In this role, you will guide prospective purchasers through the home‑buying journey, prepare legally binding purchase agreements, and deliver an exceptional customer experience for every visitor. This is an excellent opportunity for an outgoing, self‑motivated professional who is comfortable working independently while collaborating with an experienced and knowledgeable sales team.

The role also provides valuable exposure to the pre‑construction and real estate development industry.

Responsibilities
  • Represent Graywood in a professional manner and be fully knowledgeable in the product being sold
  • Leverage personal Realtor relationships in the support of the success of current, new and future project sales
  • Maintain and foster Realtor relationships by providing project information, support, guidance, and education
  • Collaborate with internal team to formulate and strategize a framework for launch and continued sales absorption
  • Participate in both off‑site and on‑site sales events & community engagement events
  • Prospecting and lead follow‑up ensuring that communication continues with leads throughout the sales campaign notifying them of new releases, promotions, and sales statistics
  • Be willing to participate in marketing initiatives including video content, seminars, events, social media interviews, etc.
  • Provide input and collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to create successful marketing programs
  • Provide timely and proactive feedback to management regarding effectiveness of incentives and sales programs
  • Execute approved sales programs to adhere to the agreed upon sales mandate
  • Collaborate with VP, Sales to use qualitative and quantitative methodologies to study project effectiveness in anticipation for upcoming developments
  • Keep up to date with market trends and analyze inventory and industry opportunities to anticipate future need and releases
  • Assist with monthly CMA research report and provide commentary to VP, Sales & SVP, Sales & Marketing
  • Management of CRM & Contract Management platform, ensuring they are maintained and kept up to date
  • Greet sales office visitors; ascertain nature of visit and direct clients/purchasers to appropriate product types to generate sales
  • Conduct tours of available units in the building and amenity spaces
  • Answer telephone and electronic inquiries pertaining to product availability and specific sales programs
  • Overall management of Presentation Centres, ensuring sales offices and show suites adhere to company sales policy
  • Collaborate with marketing on eblast and social media content
  • Review purchase and sale documents in print and digitally ensuring accuracy
  • Additional tasks as required
Qualifications

Education:

Post‑Secondary Education experience preferred

  • 3-5 years of sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of the Real Estate Industry preferred
  • Responsive to customer inquiries whether virtual or phone
  • Customer Service Focused

  • Ability to multi‑task
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
