As Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for marketing available suites, conducting property tours, qualifying prospective residents, and guiding applicants through the leasing process. The successful candidate will have the skills to convert prospects into residents while minimizing vacancy loss and supporting resident retention initiatives.

Compensation

Leasing Consultants are paid an annual salary + commission.

  • Generate interest in the community by touring the property with prospects as you answer questions about the numerous amenities, local community and beautiful grounds.
  • Manage your own success by attaining leasing goals, such as occupancy and rent growth, and building rapport with prospects and residents.
  • Drive the sale by highlighting the quality of the community and the lifestyle of the available Rhapsody home.
  • Assist prospects in qualifying for an apartment home by collecting appropriate information and initiating background checks.
  • Ensure apartments are prepared for move‑in.
  • Deliver unmatched service to residents to exceed their expectations, while maintaining resident retention.
  • Coordinate paperwork related to apartment home rentals and other office activities using attention to detail, planning and organizing skills.
  • Role is paid salary + commission.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of related sales experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience with Yardi is considered an asset.
  • Functional knowledge of various social media tools and best practices.
