We are looking for an exceptional communicator with strong listening skills, high emotional intelligence, and attention to detail. This is not a simple appointment‑setting role. You will be the first person many prospective clients speak with after expressing interest in working with Engage. Your job is to quickly understand who they are, what they are looking for, how serious they are, and what next step will serve them best.
The right person will know when a client needs immediate attention, curate appropriate content, set up the most appropriate type of next step and pair them with a consultant who is best suited to guide them. You will play a critical role in protecting our clients’ experience and ensuring our team’s time is invested where it creates the greatest impact.
You’ll Do
- Conduct introductory phone calls with prospective clients (scheduled by our bookings team)
- Learn about each client’s goals, priorities and timeline
- Assess the quality and urgency of opportunities
- Match clients with the consultant best suited to their needs
- Help prospective clients understand our process and what to expect
- Maintain detailed and accurate CRM notes
- Coordinate closely with the sales team to ensure seamless handoffs
- Represent the Engage brand with professionalism, warmth, and sound judgment
- 3+ years in a client‑facing role
- Exceptional verbal communication skills
- Strong critical thinking and decision‑making ability
- Ability to read people quickly and accurately
- High stamina to take back‑to‑back meetings while maintaining optimal client experience
- Comfortable balancing empathy with objectivity
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Comfortable using CRM systems and technology
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people but is equally energized by making good decisions.
You are naturally curious, highly observant, and able to pick up on details others miss. You understand that not every chance should be treated the same and can confidently prioritize where time and attention should be invested.
Compensation20–30 hours per week
$30–38 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
