About The Opportunity
As a Travel Consultant you will be on site full-time at a Flight Centre retail store, working a rotating 7‑day roster. You will manage the complete customer journey, converting enquiries into bookings and meeting KPIs.
What You Will Be Doing- Convert customer enquiries into confirmed bookings through consultative sales conversations.
- Work towards individual KPIs and sales targets, earning commission on every sale.
- Sell complete travel solutions including flights, accommodation, tours, cruises, car hire, transfers, and travel insurance.
- Build a loyal base of new and repeat customers – from domestic trips to complex international holidays.
- Manage multiple customers and communication channels at once (in‑store, phone, email) in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Use booking systems and supplier tools to quote, upsell, book, and follow up accurately and efficiently.
- Enjoy working toward targets and be motivated by results and commission.
- Comfortable asking for the booking and closing the sale.
- Balance great customer experience with delivering results.
- Stay organized, resilient, and positive when things get busy.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in travel sales.
- Experience using Sabre GDS preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer‑facing, target‑driven sales role, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets and upselling products or services.
- Strong communication skills and confidence selling in person and over the phone.
- High attention to detail and strong computer skills, with confidence using multiple, complex systems.
- International travel experience.
- High school diploma or higher.
- Availability to work full‑time hours, including evenings and weekends.

Salary & BenefitsWe anticipate offering an annual salary of $45,000 plus commission. On‑target earnings average between $45,000 and $68,000. The package excludes benefits.
