Senior Client Advisor – Personal Lines
Location:
Toronto, Canada (Hybrid – office 3 days per week)
Role
Summary:
Join Marsh’s Account Management team to provide high‑net‑worth personal lines solutions, working closely with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
- Respond to client requests and inquiries across multiple channels in a prompt, professional manner.
- Analyze, counsel, and recommend coverages, identify gaps, and cross‑sell opportunities.
- Provide quotes and market proposals, prepare applications, and submit in accordance with carrier guidelines and timelines.
- Lead annual renewal reviews and maintain client coverage and pricing requirements.
- Obtain and submit claims information empathetically, providing claims education to clients.
- Pursue new business opportunities, write profitable business, and monitor profitability forward.
- Maintain broker management system accuracy, entering and updating client account information, collecting receivables.
- Build and maintain referral relationships internally and externally.
- Demonstrate personal credibility, accountability, integrity.
- Complete mandatory training for compliance, service, product, systems, and processes.
- Maintain annual insurance license requirements and continuing education.
- Set and pursue high standards for goals to achieve top‑quality results.
- Apply sound judgment, strategic thinking, and strong problem‑solving skills.
- RIBO (Ontario) license.
- 7–10 years in personal lines, 5+ in high‑net‑worth segment.
- Proficiency with Applied Epic or similar broker management system.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication (oral & written), and negotiation skills.
- Strong organization and time‑management with attention to detail.
- Confidence dealing with high‑level executives and responding with urgency.
- Positive, motivating team player with strong work ethic.
- 10+ years managing high‑net‑worth client risk profiles.
- College/University degree.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with track record of prospecting and new client acquisition.
- Broad insurance knowledge across asset classes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, One Drive, Teams).
- Interest in CAIB, CIP, CRM designations.
- Willingness to obtain licenses in other Canadian provinces.

- Base salary range: $83,800 to $133,800 (plus performance‑based incentives).
