Mac Donald Search Group has been asked by our medical distribution client to recruit a Field Sales Consultant to grow and develop a territory across the GTA. This role is focused on driving new business development while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing healthcare customers through consultative, relationship-driven selling.
Some of what you will do:
Manage and grow a defined medical sales territory with a focus on increasing market share and customer engagementProspect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within clinics, healthcare facilities, and medical practicesConduct in-person sales calls, presentations, demonstrations, and customer meetings throughout the territoryDevelop and execute territory sales plans and account strategies aligned with revenue objectivesBuild strong long-term customer relationships through responsive service and consultative supportPrepare proposals, negotiate agreements, and support implementation of customer solutionsLeverage CRM systems to maintain pipeline activity, customer information, and forecasting accuracyParticipate in industry events, educational sessions, seminars, and trade shows to drive awareness and business developmentMonitor market activity, customer trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunitiesCollaborate with internal branch, customer service, and leadership teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfactionYou should have the following:
2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within healthcare, medical, dental, distribution, or adjacent industriesProven ability to prospect, build relationships, and close new business within a territory-based environmentStrong consultative selling and presentation skillsSelf-driven, highly organized, and comfortable working independently in the fieldStrong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsExperience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar toolsStrong business acumen with the ability to manage priorities and territory planning effectivelyPost-secondary education in business, healthcare, or a related field considered an assetMedical industry experience is considered an asset but not requiredWhat's in it for you:
