Territory Sales Representative - Bakery Ingredients & Foodservice Solutions
Greater Toronto Area (Field-Based)
Mac Donald Search Group has been asked by our food manufacturing and distribution client to recruit a Territory Sales Representative for the Greater Toronto Area. This role is focused on driving growth across bakery, foodservice, and commercial food production customers by delivering ingredient solutions, bakery products, and value-added support that help customers grow their business.
Some of what you will do:Manage and grow an established GTA territory across commercial bakeries, foodservice operators, in-store bakery programs, and industrial food customersProspect and secure new business opportunities through consultative, relationship-driven sellingPresent ingredient, bakery product, packaging, and operational solutions tailored to customer needsPartner with customers to identify growth opportunities through product innovation, menu development, and operational efficienciesConduct business reviews, customer presentations, and product demonstrations to drive engagement and commercial growthCollaborate with internal technical, operations, and customer service teams to ensure exceptional execution and supportManage pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and margin expectations aligned with business objectivesMaintain disciplined CRM usage, forecasting, call planning, and pipeline managementRepresent the organization at trade events, customer showcases, and industry networking opportunitiesYou should have the following:3+ years of B2B sales experience in foodservice, bakery ingredients, food manufacturing, or ingredient distributionStrong understanding of commercial bakery, food production, or restaurant operationsExperience with consultative selling and solution-based account managementProven ability to prospect, win new business, and grow existing accountsStrong commercial acumen including pricing, margin management, and territory planningExcellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skillsSelf-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable operating independently in a field sales rolePost-secondary education in business, food science, hospitality, or related discipline is an assetWhat's in it for you:Opportunity to join an established and respected organization within the food manufacturing and distribution spaceDiverse customer base spanning bakery, foodservice, and industrial channelsHigh-autonomy territory ownership with strong internal supportCompetitive compensation package including base salary, uncapped incentive plan, car allowance, and benefitsCareer growth within a dynamic and growing organization
