We are seeking a growth-minded Senior Account Executive with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives on the sales hunt. In this role, you will manage an established, prestigious book of existing business. However, net-new revenue from existing and new clients are core sales expectations. This position is ideal for a top-performing media sales executive to manage a respected established portfolio of clients, be involved with innovative campaigns and higher earning potential for new business.
Key Responsibilities- Net-New Digital & Platform Revenue: Proactively identify, qualify, and close net-new brands and advertising partners, with a heavy emphasis on scaling our digital, social, and programmatic revenue streams.
- Strategic Book Management: Cultivate, and protect a prestigious existing base of premium and luxury accounts, continuously pitching creative up-sell and cross-platform opportunities.
- Agency & Client Navigation: Map out direct brand marketing teams and media agency structures across Canada and the U.S. to identify key decision-makers and unlock untapped budgets.
- Bespoke Marketing Solutions: Architect tailored advertising programs spanning high-impact digital campaigns, programmatic setups, social/mobile executions, custom content, and experiential activations.
- Collaborative Pitching: Partner directly with our internal creative, marketing, and editorial teams to develop compelling, visually stunning sales presentations that convert cold prospects into long-term partners.
- Market Presence: Act as a key brand ambassador for our titles at industry events, premium brand activations, and key client entertainment settings to consistently feed your sales funnel.
- Reporting & Communication: Provide accurate reporting on budgets, forecasts, and account status while keeping stakeholders informed on all aspects of client relationships and project executions.
- The Driven Hunter & Nurturer: You bring 5+ years of media sales with a documented track record of managing high-value clients while simultaneously driving net-new business development.
- Digital-First Strategist: You possess a deep, fluent understanding of the modern digital landscape—including high-impact display, video, programmatic, social, and mobile advertising required for sales.
- Connected & Relentless: You have an active, leverageable network of brand marketing teams and media buyers across North America, paired with a natural ability to get in front of the right decision-makers.
- Premium & Luxury Champion: You have a deep affinity for or category experience in fashion, style, automotive, premium goods, and lifestyle sectors. Experience working with premium and luxury brands is an asset.
- High-Impact Presenter: You possess exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation skills and a sales closer with the grit and grace to excel under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
