Job Description & How to Apply Below

Palletry is a Toronto-based 3PL (third-party logistics) provider specializing in fulfillment and supply chain management for oversized ecommerce products — think furniture, appliances, fitness equipment, and other bulky goods that traditional fulfillment centers aren't built to handle.

We serve ecommerce brands and retailers that sell large or heavy products and need a reliable logistics partner to manage warehousing, order fulfillment, and cross-border shipping without building their own infrastructure.

Our key assets include warehouse facilities in both Toronto, Ontario and Buffalo, New York, giving us a strategically positioned cross-border footprint to serve Canadian and US markets. We combine that physical infrastructure with technology-driven operations to handle the full fulfillment lifecycle — receiving, storage, pick and pack, and last-mile delivery — purpose-built for pallet-level freight.

Role Description

The Business Development Representative - Third Party Logistics is a full-time, on-site role based in Etobicoke, ON. This role focuses on identifying and qualifying new business opportunities with ecommerce brands that ship basically anything. This includes researching target accounts, building prospect lists, and conducting outbound outreach via phone, email, and social channels. The BDR will conduct discovery calls, understand client logistics needs, and effectively communicate Palletry’s 3PL capabilities, technology, and value proposition.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline in the CRM, booking and supporting sales meetings or demos for senior team members, and following up on inbound leads to move them through the funnel. The role also involves collaborating with operations and account management to develop accurate proposals, gathering feedback from prospects, and contributing to continuous improvement of messaging and outreach strategies.

Qualifications
  • Strong Inside Sales and Sales skills, with experience managing a pipeline, handling objections, and closing or advancing opportunities.
  • Proven Lead Generation and Business Development abilities, including prospecting, qualifying, and nurturing opportunities in B2B environments.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex logistics solutions clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with or interest in third-party logistics (3PL), ecommerce, and/or supply chain operations is highly beneficial.
  • Comfort working with CRM tools, sales enablement platforms, and basic sales reporting and metrics.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Ability to work on-site in Etobicoke, ON and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

3 years minimum sales experience.
