Become a Sales Engineer at Nylas, specializing in new customer acquisition. Leverage your technical expertise to guide prospects through evaluations and build confidence in our solutions.
In this pre-sales role, you'll act as the primary technical advisor, working closely with Account Executives and product teams. You’ll validate requirements, influence decisions, and help accelerate evaluations. Your experience in solutions engineering will be key to driving the success of complex software sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own the technical sales process from discovery to contract
• Develop and execute technical win strategies for evaluations
• Lead discovery sessions to assess customer architectures
• Deliver tailored demos and solution architectures
• Build proof-of-concept integrations for customer validation
Requirements:
• 3–6 years in Sales Engineering or similar role
• Proven experience in influencing technical buying decisions
• Strong coding skills in languages like Python or Node.js
• Familiarity with REST APIs and OAuth authentication
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
