Job Title: Business Development Representative – OTE of $85,000+ (Uncapped Commission)

Location: Toronto, Canada

Salary: Up to $59,000 base salary + OTE of $85,000+ (Uncapped Commission) + Equity

The Company: My client is a fast-growing technology business operating within the AI and SaaS space, helping enterprise organizations improve decision-making, streamline internal processes, and drive operational efficiency through innovative software solutions.

The Role: This is a true hunter-style role focused on new business generation and outbound prospecting. Working closely alongside senior sales leadership, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, engaging decision-makers, booking qualified meetings, and building a pipeline for the wider sales organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in SaaS sales, with strong progression opportunities into Account Executive positions as the business continues growing. The role operates on a hybrid schedule, splitting time between home and the Austin office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive outbound prospecting activity to generate new business opportunities
  • Build pipeline across target accounts through strategic outreach campaigns
  • Identify and engage senior stakeholders within prospective client organizations
  • Partner closely with sales and marketing teams to increase pipeline generation
  • Consistently hit and exceed weekly and monthly activity targets
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a BDR, SDR, or customer-facing sales role preferred
  • Strong communication skills with confidence speaking to senior stakeholders
  • Experience in SaaS, tech sales, or other fast-paced commercial environments is a plus
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven, outbound sales environment
  • Highly motivated, ambitious, and eager to progress within software sales

My client offers a base salary of up to $59,000
, with uncapped commission and a realistic OTE of $85,000+. In addition, they have introduced a competitive equity package
