Job Overview
The role of Elite Sports Tours Sales Representative is to act as a travel agent for sporting events, managing client inquiries, providing custom travel packages, handling bookings, and ensuring exceptional customer service from pre‑trip to post‑trip.
Job Responsibilities- Reach monthly and yearly sales targets while providing excellent customer service to new and existing clients.
- Hit daily and weekly client CRM targets and input responses into the database.
- Handle booking issues with compassion and empathy, maintaining patience while resolving any problems.
- Communicate with potential travelers by phone and email.
- Recommend and sell the right trip based on the client’s quote request, providing any extra services needed for the best experience.
- Maintain and execute correct booking processes and procedures.
- Follow TICO industry standards and required guidelines when selling travel, including offering, quoting and selling Travel Insurance and Cancellation Insurance.
- Work with clients to ensure packages meet their expectations, including seating preferences and hotel location.
- Adhere to Elite Sports Tours team goals and company values as an employee.
- Assist the team with tour excursions.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience.
- High motivation by revenue targets and sales goals.
- Experience in the travel industry is an asset.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and schedules effectively.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to listen to client needs.
- Proficiency with various computer systems and applications.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, email, and other computer applications.
- Problem‑solving and complaint‑resolution skills.
- Highly proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work varying shifts and weekends as required.
- Willingness to travel as required by the role.
- Post‑secondary education.
- Ability to assist in crisis management and ensure safety of others.
- Team‑oriented customer service approach.
- Excellent punctuality record and dedication.
- TICO License – not required to apply but required if offered employment.
- Valid passport or Nexus card.
- Ability to legally enter the United States of America and never have been refused entry.
- Ability to work legally in Canada.
