Join our Islington Showroom Sales Team.

Job Overview

We are seeking sales-driven, customer-focused individuals to join our Islington Showroom as Sales Associates. Your primary role is to deliver outstanding customer service. You will do this by engaging with customers, actively listening to their needs, and providing tailored product recommendations. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is passionate about helping customers find the right products.

Customer Experience & Sales

Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing them the Atlas Experience from the moment they enter.

Identify the customer's needs by taking time to listen, asking thoughtful questions, and making recommendations for the best solutions.

Provide expert product knowledge by sharing accurate information and guiding customers toward making informed choices.

Drive sales through customer engagement, utilizing suggestive selling and sharing your product expertise to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.

Direct customers with unique or specialized needs to the Industrial Sales Team for additional solutions and assistance.

Actively participate in continuous learning and stay updated on product knowledge by engaging in product training sessions with vendors, peers, and self-directed learning.

Ensure customers receive accurate information regarding warranties and assist with any related questions.

Stay informed on promotions, including keeping up to date with flyers, promotions, and seasonal events.

Store Operations & Merchandising

Maintain a tidy, organized and fully merchandised department and sales floor by ensuring that items are well-organized and stocked with accurately priced products.

Follow all merchandising standards and guidelines for product placement, ensuring displays are attractive and well placed.

Assist with inventory management by managing stock levels and receiving and organizing merchandise promptly.

Proactively manage stock by ensuring out-of-stock items are ordered from the warehouse to ensure the availability of products for customers.

Health & Safety

Inform management of any potential or real-time security risks or incidents to maintain a safe environment.

Adhere to all company policies, guidelines, and procedures related to risk, customer interactions, sales processes, and handling products.

Maintain a safe environment by ensuring all safety protocols are followed and be proactive in maintaining a safe and hazard-free work environment.

Foster a positive work culture by contributing to a friendly and respectful work environment where all team members support one another.

Work together to meet and exceed targets, improve processes, and enhance overall business performance.

Assist in other areas of the showroom as required to help meet the team's needs and customer’s expectations.

Skills and Qualifications
  • 1-3 years previous retail sales experience with power tools or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and co-workers.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment by demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to last-minute changes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
