We are seeking a highly driven Key Account Manager to lead and grow a portfolio of large, strategic accounts within the fashion and apparel space. This role is responsible for building strong client partnerships, driving revenue growth, and executing end-to-end account strategies across retail. We are located in North York and are looking for someone who will work full time in the office.
Key Responsibilities Account Management & Growth- Own and manage a portfolio of large-scale retailers (e.g., major retailers, marketplaces, or national chains)
- Develop and execute account growth strategies to increase revenues
- Maintain strong relationships with key buyers, merchants, and stakeholders
- Identify new opportunities for programs, product extensions, and seasonal growth initiatives
- Drive sell‑in and sell‑through performance across all key accounts
- Lead account planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes
- Negotiate pricing, margins, and promotional programs
- Identify and onboard new large accounts aligned with company strategy
- Collaborate with design, sourcing, and development teams to bring new products to market
- Manage timelines from concept to delivery, including approvals, samples, and production
- Work closely with internal teams including Design, Production, and Operations
- Coordinate inventory planning, replenishment, and demand forecasting
- Support marketing and promotional initiatives tailored to key accounts
- Monitor account performance against KPIs (sales, margins, inventory turns)
- Provide regular reporting, forecasts, and strategic insights to senior leadership
- Analyze market trends and customer data to inform decisions
- 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development
- Proven success managing and growing a portfolio of medium to large‑sized retail accounts
- Strong knowledge of the fashion/apparel industry (accessories, basics and licensed goods is a plus)
- Detail‑oriented with excellent execution capabilities
- Strategic thinking with a strong commercial mindset
- Ability to manage multiple high‑value accounts simultaneously
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Entrepreneurial approach to growing accounts
- Consistent growth across assigned key accounts
- Strong, long‑term partnerships with major clients
- Successful execution of new programs and product launches
- Increased market penetration within core categories
Base salary + performance‑based commission/bonus tied to account growth and revenue milestones
