Role SummaryAs a Senior Sales Executive, you will prospect and engage potential clients—corporate and retail tenant real‑estate executives, corporate controllers, and financial reporting executives—making them aware of CoStar’s best‑in‑class software services and professional services through the Real Estate Manager platform and other CoStar products. You will originate new business and nurture relationships with existing customers from our Toronto office, leveraging a team of internal and external stakeholders to penetrate large enterprise accounts.
Responsibilities- New Business Development:
Identify and close new sales opportunities by demonstrating the value of our SaaS, data, and information services tailored specifically for commercial real‑estate lenders and financial institutions. Close new logos through disciplined go‑to‑market execution and relentless pursuit of targets. - Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service and identifying expansion opportunities. Gain a deep understanding of client needs while developing lasting relationships with key decision‑makers. - Territory Engagement:
Travel (25‑50%) within your assigned region to meet clients and prospects face‑to‑face, fostering trust, delivering product value, and strengthening partnerships. - Strategic
Collaboration:
Work closely with internal stakeholders and local field sales teams to align on client goals, ensuring seamless execution and maximizing satisfaction. - Market Expertise:
Become an expert in the end‑to‑end SaaS solution supporting lease administration, lease accounting and transaction management, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and connecting customer requirements with solution capabilities to quantify ROI. - Sales Execution:
Own the full sales cycle—including prospecting, pitching, marketing, and closing—plus renewals, driving growth and exceeding revenue targets. - Industry Engagement:
Represent CoStar Real Estate Manager by hosting and attending industry events and networking with commercial real‑estate professionals in your market.

- 7+ years of outside sales and account‑management experience in B2B selling enterprise SaaS, financial technology, business intelligence or data & analytics to large enterprises.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
- Passion for building relationships and leveraging your network to find and approach decision‑makers.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, simplifying technical concepts.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar sales‑enablement platforms.
