Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership (MLSE) is a leading name in sports and entertainment. This role is within the Ticket Sales team supporting live event venues.
Job Description
As part of the Ticket Sales team, your focus will be selling premium spaces within a menu of products to support live events at Scotiabank Arena, RBC Amphitheatre, HISTORY, Coca-Cola Coliseum, and Rogers Stadium. This is a 12-month, part-time (32‑hour) entry‑level sales position built on learning fundamentals through outbound activity, training, and development. Graduates are positioned for advancement.
Responsibilities
Work as an incredible teammate, upholding a positive group dynamic.
Contribute to a collaborative sales culture that drives results across MLSE and Live Nation properties.
Drive revenue through cold calling, marketing campaigns, and social selling, focusing on B2B and B2C sales.
Promote a full menu of ticket products including full season, flex/partial season, group hospitality, executive suite rentals, and premium packages.
Identify prospects and decision makers through centers of influence, referrals, and execute hosting opportunities.
Provide outstanding customer service with prompt responses to all inbound and outbound communication.
Adapt and pivot quarterly focus as business demands evolve.
Prepare and execute presentations to prospective clients.
Manage order processing via the ticket booking system, adhering to proper administrative processes.
Perform promotional or membership service functions as required.
Qualifications
Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs arise.
Comfortable delivering in a fast‑paced environment using effective time management and organization skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven sales track record is an asset.
Positive, team‑first mindset with integrity, confidentiality, and discretion.
Ongoing awareness of client satisfaction and ability to respond.
Ability to build and maintain long‑lasting professional relationships.
Willingness to be coached and take risks to learn.
Highly motivated to build a career in music and live entertainment.
Commitment to a ‘One‑Team’ approach toward departmental and company goals.
Ability to perform well under tight timelines, prioritize, and work independently.
Experience developing sales and service relationships preferred.
Proficient user of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Ticketmaster and/or ARCHTICS knowledge is an asset but not required.
Salesforce knowledge is an asset but not required.
Compensation and Contract
Rate: $26.79/hour for a 32‑hour week. 12‑month contract.
