Role
Summary:
The Sales Administrator is responsible for supporting the sales team through the coordination and management of meetings, sales orders, sales quotes, and sales contracts.
The position coordinates meetings and team travel, drafts and submits quotations; coordinates price lists; responds to queries; and coordinates field asset movements or transfers.
Role Responsibilities:
Supports the sales solicitation response teams and distributor networks, including:
oProject managing, submitting, and responding to Request-for-Proposals (RFPs), solicitations, and sales inquiries.
o Drafting sales quotes and responding to requests for quotes.
o Sharing pricing with customers by generating customer price lists.
o Assisting in the monitoring and data mining of government contract databases (SAM.Gov, DIBBS, etc.) to seek and respond to RFP opportunities.
o Fielding customer sales inquiries on the phone, through email or the World Wide Web.
Coordinates and tracks field asset movements and transfers.
Maintains the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Fields team Proof-Of-Concept for CRM and acts as expert on CRM tools.
Coordinates sales team meetings and national sales meetings.
Manages team travel calendar and online feedback forums (WIKI Portal).
Coordinates and manages After Action Reports (AARs) and customer feedback; prioritizes and elevates key findings.
Coordinates with Marketing, Supply Chain, and the Commercial Product team on various initiatives as required, including coordination and attendance at trade shows.
Assists sales leaders with periodic management reporting (PowerPoint presentations and Excel) and helps standardize these reports.
Supports Finance on the administration of the Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) as required.
Considers quality in all aspects of the job and respects procedures and norms.
Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field.
2-3 years of experience in a similar role supporting high performing sales teams.
Medical device industry, emerging business, or start-up experience preferred.
Experience with RFPs, solicitations, and sales quotes.
Experience with government contracts is an asset.
Experience with CRM, ERP systems and digital tools.
Skills & Knowledge:

Ability to work independently on projects from implementation to completion, and able to work under pressure at times managing a wide variety of activities and relationships.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proficiency with CRM systems.
Other Requirements:
Primarily office related requirements with exposure to production work rooms and warehouse when required.
Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and bending.
Some local and international travel required.
Compensation: The target salary range for this position is $55, per annum.
The position is not eligible for bonus or benefits.
The starting salary offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, job-related skills and relevant education and/or training.
