Construction Estimator​/Sales

You are great at building and growing relationships with customers, both on the phone and in person.

You enjoy the hunt to secure new customers and finalise sales with existing customers.

This position prepares professional tender submissions for the installation of concrete and drains for the low‑rise housing industry. You will be the job contact for existing and prospective builders; answering questions and successfully closing each tender. You should have a good working knowledge of the residential industry and possess exemplary English verbal communication skills.

• Work independently to produce accurate estimates of materials and labour for customers
• Prepare project costing and budgets
• Support analysis and reporting using advanced Excel tools and Power Query where needed
• Communicate with customers through all stages of the estimating process from tender submission to project completion
• Solicit new customers and retain legacy customers

• Minimum 1‑year experience as an Estimator and/or Sales
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with Power Query required
• Goal‑oriented with the ability to build professional, long‑term relationships
• Prospecting skills for new customers
• Passion to negotiate and close deals
• Strong interpersonal, relationship‑building and communication skills
• Exemplary English communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Post‑secondary college education
