Located in the heart of Toronto's Entertainment District, Hyatt Regency Toronto is a dynamic hotel offering exceptional guest experiences, innovative meeting and event spaces, and outstanding hospitality. The Sales Manager
- Corporate is responsible for driving revenue through the solicitation, development, and management of corporate group business. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and maximizing guest room, meeting space, and food and beverage revenues.
The successful candidate will play a key role in growing market share, exceeding revenue goals, and contributing to the overall commercial success of Hyatt Regency Toronto.
- Salary Range: $72,000 to $80,000 annually

- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate meeting planners, executive assistants, procurement professionals, and third-party intermediaries.
- Prospect and secure new corporate group business through networking, referrals, sales calls, industry events, and strategic outreach.
- Manage and grow an assigned account portfolio while increasing market share and client retention.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key clients and identify future business opportunities.
- Respond to RFPs, inquiries, and client requests within established service standards.
- Achieve assigned revenue, room night, and activity objectives.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with hotel goals.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize profitability while meeting client needs.
- Analyze market trends, booking pace, and account production to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with Revenue Management and Commercial Services teams to optimize business mix and revenue performance.
- Conduct site inspections, hotel tours, and client presentations.
- Attend networking events, industry functions, and trade shows.
- Plan and execute sales missions within assigned markets.
- Build long-term partnerships that generate repeat business and strengthen client loyalty.
- Partner closely with Event Sales, Event Planning, Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations teams.
- Support a seamless transition from sales through event execution.
- Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure exceptional client and guest experiences.
- Maintain accurate account information and sales activities within Hyatt-approved sales systems.
- Prepare forecasts, activity reports, and action plans.
- Monitor account performance and adjust strategies as required.
- Contribute to annual business planning and market strategy initiatives.
- Minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience , preferably within corporate group sales, group sales, catering sales, or hospitality sales.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals and developing client relationships.
- Strong negotiation, prospecting, and business development skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to travel locally and attend evening or weekend business functions when required.
- Experience with Delphi, Envision, CVENT, or similar CRM and sales platforms.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, group contracting, and revenue management principles.
- Experience working within a full-service hotel environment.
