Are you a proven commercial furniture sales professional ready to take the next step into leadership?
We re partnering with one of Canada s leading workplace solutions providers to add several Sales Managers to their growing team. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, these roles are ideal for experienced business development professionals who have built successful careers in commercial furniture sales and are ready to lead from the front.
This is a true player-coach opportunity. You ll continue to manage a portfolio of strategic accounts while leading and developing a portion of an established sales team. As the organization continues to grow, your responsibilities will expand to include leadership of a larger team, ultimately transitioning into full team leadership.
What You ll Be Doing
Lead, coach, and develop a portion of the commercial furniture sales team, with responsibility expanding as the business continues to grow.
Continue managing a portfolio of strategic accounts while driving new business across the commercial furniture market.
Build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, end users, project managers, developers, and general contractors.
Lead by example through strong business development, relationship management, and sales execution.
Work closely with the Vice President of Sales to execute sales strategies, improve team performance, and identify growth opportunities.
Conduct regular coaching, field support, and performance development with your team members.
Collaborate with design, project management, customer service, and operations teams to ensure an exceptional client experience.
Contribute to sales planning, forecasting, and the continued growth of the business.
What We re Looking For
7+ years of commercial furniture sales experience.
Proven success in business development and strategic account growth.
Previous leadership, coaching, or people management experience within commercial furniture sales.
Strong credibility within the furniture industry—you ve successfully built business and can earn the trust and respect of your team.
A collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing people while continuing to grow your own business.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Valid driver s licence and ability to travel throughout the GTA and surrounding markets.
