As a Managing Technical Consultant, Fisheries Biologist at ERM, you will guide multimillion-dollar projects and influence significant environmental outcomes. With over four years of consulting experience, you will support field programs while navigating regulatory landscapes for mining and energy sectors while working flexibly in diverse Canadian locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead fish and habitat assessments across freshwater systems
• Plan and monitor fisheries offsetting and compensation programs
• Analyze and interpret aquatic biology and habitat data
• Prepare technical documents such as impact assessments
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to ERM’s technical communities
Requirements:
•
B.Sc. in Fisheries Biology or related field
• 4+ years in freshwater fish and habitat consulting
• Strong communication skills in technical reporting
• Valid driver’s license and Pleasure Craft Operator’s License
• Ability to travel extensively for field programs
