In this full-time office-based role, Jacobs is looking for a Senior Aquatic Biologist to lead environmental planning on government and private projects. You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and be responsible for technical direction through all project phases, bringing 10+ years of experience in the natural resources sector and a strong background in aquatic studies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide aquatic assessments and permitting processes
• Develop budgets, methodologies, and review submissions
• Manage field crews and monitor project compliance
• Establish relationships with clients and regulatory authorities
• Conduct strategic regulatory advice for project life cycles
Requirements:
•
B.Sc., M.Sc., or Doctorate in aquatic sciences
• Proven experience in environmental consultancy
• Familiar with fish habitat assessments and water quality
• Exceptional technical writing and review capabilities
• Clean driver’s license for work-related travel
