Position: Laboratory Analyst II - Eurofins Cosmetics & Personal Care, Inc )
Under the direction of the Research & Development Manager, Analyst II (LC-MS & GC-MS) will support the department by coordinating research activities directed toward the development of new methods and conducting validations that meet departmental goals. The position is instrumental in the development and validation of new test methods as per ICH guidelines.

Key Responsibilities   Write assay and impurities method development & validation protocol and report
Perform method validation and routine analysis using LC-MS and GC-MS
Review technical data, documents, and proposals as required
Troubleshoot technical issues or difficulties with methods
Carry out and support OOS/OOT investigations
Coordinate method transfer studies between clients and other departments
Assist with SOP training for new personnel and SOP revisions
Liaise with clients as needed to maintain superior relationships
Provide ongoing technical training to staff and develop them to perform technical tasks
Support the Department Head of R&D in all aspects of business to run the department smoothly
Qualifications   Degree or diploma in Chemistry or related discipline; MSc. would be an asset
3+ years working with LC-MS/MS or GC-MS/MS
5–10 years of experience working in a Pharmaceuticals Laboratory
Experience working in a contract laboratory is an asset
Excellent organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills

High level of accuracy and robust attention to detail
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment
Working Conditions   Laboratory environment where standing is required for greater than 50% of the time; light lifting of no more than 30 lbs.
Hazardous materials handled using established safety procedures and appropriate PPE
Shift work and overtime may be required, as well as periodic weekend and/or evening work
