As a Laboratory Technician under the guidance of the Teaching Lab Manager, you'll play a crucial role in supporting undergraduate courses with lab components. Your tasks include preparing lab materials, maintaining animal colonies, collecting samples, and curating preserved specimens. This dynamic role is ideal for candidates with a solid background in biological sciences and a focus on ecology or evolutionary biology.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the design and preparation of lab activities
• Serve as point-of-contact for lab emergencies
• Conduct field techniques for material collection
• Maintain inventory of lab materials
• Rearing live animals in lab settings
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in biological sciences
• Minimum of two years lab experience
• Knowledge of lab equipment and procedures
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Valid G class driver's license
