Jacobs is seeking an Aquatic Biology Expert to provide leadership in Ontario's natural resource projects. Engage in aquatic biology, mentorship, and regulatory guidance.
In this Senior Aquatic Biologist role, you will coordinate a team and oversee project phases from proposal to operations. Your deep understanding of environmental legislation will enhance project delivery and client satisfaction, supporting diverse sectors such as oil and gas, transportation, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead technical direction on aquatic biology applications
• Mentor a diverse team of biologists effectively
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and documentation
• Establish client and regulatory relationships
• Implement mobile field-data collection methodologies
Requirements:
•
B.Sc., M.Sc., or Doctorate in fish or aquatic studies
• Over 10 years of consulting experience in Ontario
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulation compliance
• MTO/DFO/MNR fisheries protocols training
• Valid driver's license and abstract for travel
