LEA is seeking a motivated Terrestrial Ecologist with a university degree in biology or ecology and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include conducting baseline surveys, assessing habitats, and producing technical reports. Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders is essential to support project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct terrestrial ecosystem studies for various projects
• Manage field data collection and digital filing
• Prepare technical reports and environmental documentation
• Assist in regulatory permit applications and habitat plans
• Liaise with stakeholders during project phases
Requirements:
• University degree in biology, ecology, or related field
• 3-5 years of ecological fieldwork experience
• Skills in identifying Ontario wildlife and plants
• Experience with ecological survey protocols
• Valid Canadian driver’s license required
