GFT Environmental Scientist

GFT is looking for an Environmental Scientist with substantial experience to join its Practice or CBG Team in Toronto. This hybrid position requires expertise in supervising and conducting environmental site assessments, including Phase 1 and 2 ESAs, and managing contaminated site investigations. Candidates should possess strong project management skills and the ability to work in compliance with Ontario regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise environmental site assessments and due diligence studies

• Execute field work programs for contamination studies

• Manage reporting for Phase 1 and 2 ESAs

• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and clients

• Train junior team members and collaborate effectively

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in environmental science or related field

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Ontario

• Knowledge of Ontario Regulations 153/04 and 406/19

• Strong project management and problem-solving skills

• Valid driver’s license in Ontario
